PAL/Plainfield Public Library "Bountiful" Judged Exhibit Winners

PAL would like to congratulate the winners of our November judged exhibit "Bountiful" in conjunction with the Plainfield Public Library.  The exhibit is running through November 21 in the lower lever bay window area of the Plainfield Public Library.  Thank you to all who brought in their beautiful work - patrons and library staff have sent their compliments!  And we would like to also thank our guest judge, Patti Tesdal!

BEST OF THEME: "Hay" by Barb Eberhard - Gum Bichromate photo
FIRST PLACE: "White Synagogue" by Freddie Harmon - Watercolor
SECOND PLACE: "All In A Day's Work" by Amy Turner - Colored Pencil
THIRD PLACE: "Gum In The Garden" by Barb Eberhard - Gum Bichromate photo
BEST OF SHOW: "Blue Hibiscus and Fairy Lights" by Amy Turner - Colored Pencil

***It came to our attention that we needed to amend our judging to allow for only one ribbon to be awarded per artist, per exhibit.  This will be applied to all future PAL judged exhibits.

PAL's Great November Demo & "One Night Show!"

PAL wants to thank Barb Eberhard for her wonderful and very informative demo on the Gum Bichromate photographic process - learning about the involved process of how she creates her beautiful pieces was eye-opening!  Thanks again Barb!

Also, congratulations to our "One Night Show!" winners for November!  Our theme this month was "Life Cycles."   Best of Theme went to Freddie Harmon for her watercolor piece entitled "Red Poppies" and  Best of Show went to one of our new members, Lillian Ebert, for her Oil painting entitled "Fall Fantasy."  Thank you to all who entered - your work was gorgeous and made  judge Murley Wheeler's job a difficult one!

December's "One Night Show!" exhibit theme will be "Winter Sunsets", and will be on December 10 during our PAL Holiday party, lower level meeting room of the Plainfield Library from 7pm to 8:45pm.  See everyone then!!!
