PAL will be holding back-to-back juried exhibits and a concurrent non-juried exhibit in June/July at the Plainfield District 202 Administration Building, 15723 Howard Street, Plainfield.  PALmembers are encouraged to enter 1 - 2 pieces into EACH of the 2 juried exhibits and/or to enter up to 4 pieces into the 2 month, non-juried exhibit.  Drop-off date for juried exhibit #1 and the 2 month non-juried exhibit will be on Friday, June 1st from 11am to 2pm.  The pick-up for juried exhibit #1 & drop off for the juried exhibit #2 will be on Friday, June 29th from 11am to 2pm.  The final pick-up for juried exhibit #2 and the 2 month non-juried exhibit will be on Friday, July 27th from 11am to 2pm.
The theme of juried exhibit #1 will be "Coat of Many Colors" and the theme of juried exhibit #2 will be "Independence." Remember, there is only 1 ribbon for "Best of Theme" per juried show - pieces do NOT have to correspond to the theme to win any of the other ribbons!   Exhibits will be juried the first week of June and July with ribbons awarded for "Best of Show," "Best of Theme," First, Second and Third places given out at the June and July member meeting/demo night respectively.
This is a terrific opportunity to show off your work!  The people at the District 202 Building are wonderful to work with and we always get wonderful feedback from them on our artwork.  We can't wait to see what everyone has been working on lately - it should be a great show....
I also want to send out special thanks to Freddie Harmon who will be there on drop-off and pick-up days to help us all out - You're the best!
